**Working as part of a small team in a flat structure your roles an responsibilities include but not limited to**
- Risk Identification: Identifying and documenting potential operational risks across different business units and processes within the organization.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluating the severity and likelihood of identified risks to prioritize and address them effectively.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing data and key risk indicators to monitor trends, identify emerging risks, and recommend risk control measures.
- Risk Reporting: Preparing reports and presentations for management and stakeholders, outlining the organization’s operational risk profile and suggesting appropriate actions.
- Control Testing: Conducting assessments of existing risk controls and internal processes to ensure they are effective and in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Incident Management: Participating in incident investigations when operational failures occur, to understand the root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Risk Mitigation: Collaborating with different teams to implement risk mitigation strategies and improve operational processes.
Policy and Procedure Development: Assisting in developing and updating risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Compliance and Regulations: Staying informed about relevant laws and regulations and ensuring the organization’s risk management practices are in line with legal requirements.
- Training and Awareness: Promoting risk awareness and educating employees about risk management practices to foster a risk-conscious culture.
