Position Summary:
The position is responsible for all aspects of Finance Controllership function at the Washington Plant and act as a strategic partner to the plant leadership in providing insightful analysis to drive performance at the plant.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage all accounting operations including cost accounting, financial closing and reporting, internal control and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, tax, fixed asset accounting, inventory management, and related activities
- Manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site under US GAAP
- Analyse variances and communicates explanations to management with recommended actions
- Prepare forecasts and budgets in the scheduled deadlines with accuracy and punctuality to deliver high quality standards of data in line with all relevant reporting standards and accounting guidelines
- Capex controlling
- Implement new controlling tools and seek continuous improvement and use of best practices
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors (where required) to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- All ad-hoc management accounting and controlling exercises required by the business
- Actively manages career development of direct reports, reviews performance, and provides coaching to enhance performance
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Accounting with a certification in either ACCA, CPA, or CMA
- 8-10 years overall experience in Finance & Controllership with 4 years of managerial experience.
- Plant Accounting and/or FMCG experience required.
- Knowledge and use of business programs. SAP exposure is an advantage.
