Warehouse Worker

**We are looking for Temporary Warehouse Operatives to join us on a zero hours basis.**

**This role is offering £10ph**

Slurp is a retailer of exciting wines from around the world, with a strong (and rapidly growing) online customer base as well as a physical store in Banbury alongside the office and warehouse. This is a really exciting time to join Slurp due to it experiencing an incredible phase of growth and development due to the increased online shopping for wine.

Your primary role is to support the Warehouse Supervisor in the day to day running of the warehouse playing your part in making the warehouse team the best in the business. You are required to receipt, put-away, pick, pack and load stock for despatch. You are to always work safely and understand your legal and operational responsibilities for Health & Safety.

As a Warehouse Operative you will see more of our wines than anyone else in the business and we need you to pick and pack our wines accurately and always have our customer’s requirements as your priority. How you pick and pack our customer orders has an impact on all of us.

**Key Activities**
- Know your responsibilities for Health & Safety.
- Report any Health & Safety concerns to your supervisor immediately
- Picking product for customer orders.
- Packing customer orders for despatch
- Maintenance of product
- Safely operating all warehouse equipment including the Forklift Truck
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- Assisting in loading
- Re-stock racking
- Stock checking and counting
- Maintain all equipment in your charge
- Report all breakages
- Engage with and add value to your appraisal process
- Add value at departmental meetings
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required by your supervisor

**Requirements**:

- Able to work as a team and support others to fulfil their role
- Able to participate in continuous improvement; comfortable to suggest ideas and solutions and help to implement improvements
- Experience training others is an advantage
- This role is based in Brackley, NN13 7FG
