The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit an Assistant Principal to join our leadership team at The King Alfred School - an Academy (TKASA) from 17 April 2023. We need an exceptional leader with the ability, passion and enthusiasm to develop, promote and support the vision and direction of the school enabling it to build success through high quality education for all.

TKASA is a school with a long history of providing education for the children of Highbridge, Burnham on Sea and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on ensuring that every child achieves their potential, both academically and socially during their time with us. We are a school at the heart of our community and we believe that it is our role to develop the next generation into successful citizens.

**To be considered for this role you should have**:

- A deep commitment to the education, safeguarding and well-being of children and young people;
- Educated to degree level and QTS;
- Extensive experience working across the secondary age range;
- Exceptional knowledge of secondary education and how children learn;
- Passion for quality curriculum design leading to positive outcomes for all children;
- Proven ability to lead effectively ensuring that everyone is encouraged to excel;
- Excellent communication skills.
