School Counsellor

**Youth/ Schools Counsellor required**

**Location: Colchester**

**7 month Contract (though likely to be extended) - 6 hours per week - £26,775 per annum pro rata**

The Change Project has an exciting opportunity for qualified Youth/Schools Counsellor to work within the Colchester area of Essex.

**Essential**:

- You will need to have completed a recognised Youth counselling qualification at Level 5.
- You will also have a minimum of 100 hours of supervised counselling hours that can be evidenced.
- You will be expected to attend in house clinical supervision (which can be accessed remotely) and monthly professional development group.

**Preferred**:

- Experience of delivering counselling or mental health support within a school setting would be beneficial
- A certificate in online work would be an advantage though not essential.

Part-time hours: 6 per week - There is also a possibility of additional hours upon request.
