**The Role**:
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting young people in their transition to independent living. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing emotional support and mentorship to young people as they navigate the challenges of leaving care.
- Assisting in the development of life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and job seeking.
- Offering guidance on educational and vocational opportunities.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and progress of the young people.
**Key qualifications**:
- A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An NVQ 3 or NVQ 4 qualification relating to children or young people.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A willingness to adapt to the unique needs of each individual in your care.
