Express Recruitment is working alongside one of the UK’s major civil infrastructure and redevelopment firms who due to an acquirement of substantial new contracts are on the lookout for a Highways Estimator to join their talented team

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Carry out tender data analysis in Excel e.g., sub-contractors/Supplier rates
- Research, source and negotiate the best prices and quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors
- Visit sites to gather information that can be put forward for tenders
- Complete financial tender documents submission and delivery arrangements
- Scan electronic files into the existing estimating system
- Carry out site risk management assessments
- Utilise various value engineering methodologies to ensure most cost-effective products are obtained

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Full UK Driving Licence essential
- Previous experience dealing with tenders and producing in depth quotations
- Demonstrable analytical and negotiation skills
- IT literate, confident using MS office packages, tender systems and associated estimating software

**Salary**: c£61,000 per annum D.O.E + Company Car/Car Allowance
