**Warehouse/Stores Assistant must have a ** Full Driving Licence with towing.
**Location: Hatfield**
**Reports to**: Stores Manager
**Training**: All the required training will be provided on an on-going basis
**Hours**:08.00-17.00
**Lunch break - 30 minutes**
**Annual Holiday - 22 days per annum plus bank holidays**

**Overview**

This role is based in our Hatfield Head Office, from where our main warehouse operates. You will work within our friendly professional team but primarily in conjunction with the Stores Manager to ensure the efficient, effective and safe operation of our warehouse facility.

**Main Duties**
- Receiving and processing stock deliveries
- Fulfilling stock requisitions, ensuring they are ready for collection or delivery to site
- Monitoring stock levels to ensure they are maintained in line with demand and stock shortfalls are flagged in advance with the Stores Manager
- Delivering supplies to site as required
- Managing equipment allocation, logging equipment in and out via our database management system.
- Assisting in the maintenance, servicing, repair and testing of equipment in line with legislation and with manufacturer’s recommendations
- Ensuring all of the above is recorded in our management system and that no piece of equipment is issued to site without a current certificate
- Ensure any equipment that does not have a current certificate is red labelled and placed in our quarantine store until such time as it is tested and re-certified
- Maintaining clean and tidy Stores at all times, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Understand and implement the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Present a professional first point of contact for the Company to anyone entering the Stores.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
