**background**:
FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea.

Oil and gas liquids from over 50 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth

**job purpose**:
Support the ability of inspection team to deliver safe, reliable and efficient planning and execution of integrity related activity, and meet legislative requirements, via the structured systemisation of inspectable items and the management of line list data.

Achieve the above through;
- Accurate update and maintenance of the master line list database and all relevant line list data held in Credo for all equipment items and piping systems
- Creation and maintenance of Inspection Isometrics for all equipment items and piping systems

**principle accountabilities**:

- Maintain a high standard of personal safety whilst at work, adhering to all required rules and procedures
- Carry out physical walk round of equipment on site, supported by P&ID’s / fabrication ISO’s / general arrangement drawings and produce a detailed sketch of the item including geometry, orientation and location of all components / attachments.
- Create Inspection Isometrics using the appropriate software with details gathered during line walks
- Utilising marked up P&ID’s, fabrication ISO’s, general arrangement drawings and Inspection Isometrics, update / modify / correct the master line list database entries held for the item ensuring accuracy and validity of all data.
- Following changes to the master line list database, upload information into Credo ensuring accuracy is not lost and no errors occur during the transfer.
- All created Inspection Isometrics should show dead legs as per the appropriate colour coding, pipe supports, Corrosion Monitoring Locations and any other pertinent features

**special features**:

- Proficient with computer aided design software packages / Microsoft Visio.
- Experience in the potential hazards associated with working on refining or petrochemicals manufacturing site and how they are mitigated.
- Knowledge of key piping system components, vessel types and valves.
- Proficient in the use of P&ID’s, fabrication isometrics and general arrangement drawings.
- Must be detailed, structured and methodical in approach.

**Qualifications and technical experience**:

- Proficient in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Excel, Credo & applicable CAD packages
- Knowledge of key piping system components, vessel types and valves.
- Proficient in the use of P&ID’s, fabrication isometrics and general arrangement drawings.
- Must be detailed, structured and methodical in approach with an extremely keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills required as well as the ability to support and coach others in the overall systemisation process and the role it plays in inspection.
