Maths Coach

At DRGN Group, we’re searching for people who are passionate about developing and supporting the people in the Greater Manchester region to fulfil their potential.

As part of the ‘Multiply’ programme, we are looking to recruit Maths coaches to support adults who aren’t as confident as they would like to be with their Maths skills.

This is a perfect opportunity for those looking to enhance the skills of people in their local communities and build on their relationships in the region.

**The Role**

Your role will be varied, but the core focus will always be to enhance the maths skills and to build relationships in the area to support learners to meet their maths goals.

You will be the first impression the learner has of DRGN, so by establishing a rapport, and delivering fantastic coaching, you can encourage your learners to undergo further adult education training with DRGN.

Your role will involve:

- Developing relationships in the community to encourage people to access the coaching under the ‘Multiply’ programme.
- Understanding each individual learners areas for development in Maths.
- Prepare and deliver innovative, engaging face to face sessions to achieve positive results for your learners.

**What you’ll need for this role**
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
- Ability to build external relationships in the wider Greater Manchester community to secure new learners onto the Multiply programme.
- Have a minimum of GCSE Grade 4/C for Maths or equivalent.
- Have a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
- IT skills to be able to deliver remotely via MS Teams or Zoom if required and to manage administration.
- Ability to work confidently in community settings delivering face to face sessions and work remotely, where required.
- Be prepared to travel to multiple locations within the Greater Manchester region.

**Salary**: £25,117.00-£28,000.00 per year
