Mental Health Support Worker

HOOP are seeking support workers to join us on an agency basis to support a group of leading private mental health and learning disability facilities within South Wales.
**£11.20 - £16.80 per hour**
Joining Hoop as a support worker you will be working closely alongside and supporting permanent members of staff as well as other agency staff across a range of services across South Wales. No two days will be the same, but you will play a vital part in the day to day operation of the services and supporting individuals presenting with a range of mental health and or learning disabilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who’s looking for full time agency work, to someone with a permanent position that’s looking to pick up one or two shifts on the side of their current role. We will work around when you are available and aim to have you out working your first shift within 7 days*

As a support worker you will possess the following essential skills:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective work relationships with both colleagues and service users
- Compassionate and work empathy
- Confident working in new environments and service users
- Previous experience within similar environments
- Due to the nature of the client environment, enhanced DBS checks will take place prior to employment._
- *Dependant on submission and return of all documentation required._
- Please note that the advertised rate of pay is inclusive of holiday p_ay
