**Technical Services Administrator, all round admin support - Luton - up to £31,000**
My Client, based in Luton are a forward thinking and well established business looking to appoint a Technical Services Administrator. They are well respected not just locally, but further afield as well and are a well known household name brand. They continueto invest in all areas of the business to stay competitive and meet the needs of their customers. They have a newly created role in the Technical Services Department, as an Administrator.
In the position of Technical Services administrator, you will provide administrative support to the business unit to assist in the smooth running of TSD Operational Departments contributing towards the teams efficiency & achievement of key business targets.
The duties of the Technical Services Administrator will include:
- Provide a confidential clerical, secretarial and administrative support to all TSD Operations to meet business needs.
- Accurate and timely filing, management of the office environment, document control, Office 365 management and other administrative work for the department.
- Take minutes when requested and distribute accordingly.
- Receive visitors and telephone calls to provide third parties with prompt and courteous service and limit demands on the time of team members.
- Manage the processes and systems that underpin TSD’s record systems, including, engineering records (O&M manuals and drawings) safe system of works and risk assessments.
- Manage the E-day planner system on behalf of the team in accordance with TSD policy.
- Manage the input of data and recording of sickness completed.
- Manage TSD’s training records system and arrange course bookings and accommodation.
- Support the Senior Engineer team with administrative duties, purchase ordering and ensure all engineering and operating records.
- Interface with the relevant Senior Engineer in respect of TSD Stores stock and when requested validate the QFM stores database with the Finance database and Focal Point.
- Provide the Continuous Improvement Manager with administrative support.
- Main point of contact for the processing of TSD security ID passes, coordinating the gathering of documentation associated with this process and maintaining appropriate records for car parking, vehicle passes, driving licenses and issuing of these in linewith policy for both staff and visitors for all TSD Operations.
The successful Technical Services Administrator will have:
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Financial management experience desirable but not essential
- Excellent organisational, planning and administration skills.
- Excellent IT and PC literacy with specific skills in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
