**Job Title**: Lead PM&C Professional - Dreadnought Programme Planning

**Salary**: From £43,373 dependent on skills and experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Attending Planning meetings to update / advise stakeholders on structure and status of level 3 plans
- Managing a team of project planners on a day-to-day basis and coordinating work and tasks
- Helping with the maintenance of the Dreadnought Programme Test and Commissioning Plans both directly and through management of others
- Assisting with the management of forecasting and critical path reporting for the programme
- Managing change requests, forecasting, progress updates, plan data quality, and scenario planning and reporting
- Leading team toolbox talks and carrying out monthly performance and development sessions with team members. Also carrying out mid and end of year PDR’s with team members
- Assisting with the recruitment, retention and time and attendance of the planning team
- Empowered deputy for the Engineering, Build, T&C Planning Manager

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essentials:

- Extensive Planning experience, with Project Planning software knowledge (MS Project, P6, ASTA Powerproject, Spider for example.)
- Project Planning Experience within a Manufacturing, Construction or Engineering environment
- Very strong MS Office Skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable:

- Team leadership experience
- Experience with P6 or SAP would be advantageous

**The Dreadnought programme planning leadership team**:
You’ll be part of the Dreadnought programme planning leadership team. The wider team provide programme level planning services and governance to the wider business covering the design, build, test and commissioning of the full suite of Dreadnought class submarines. You will be able to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders, gain solid programme knowledge, and take part in a variety of engaging assignments and activities. There are opportunities to undertake development sessions to support your career progression.
