**What is the main purpose of the role?**
Working within a busy fast paced environment you will ensure the smooth
running of the service within the restaurant.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
ï‚- Ensure that the service is conducted efficiently, the restaurant is clean and the
team provide a high customer service for our guests.
ï‚- While you need to provide training to the new starters to ensure the
company standard is delivered, you will also liaise with your line manager
for any additional training needs.
ï‚- You ensure that the restaurant is kept clean and tidy. With opening and
closing shift schedules being completed.
ï‚- Make sure that all the Health & Safety requirements are completed and
COSHH regulations followed.
ï‚- Ensure all charges are processed correctly to ensure all
revenue is captured
ï‚- Promote guest satisfaction throughout the restaurant by delivering check
backs with guests
ï‚- Promote creativity and innovation with the staff.
ï‚- Assure product quality and consistency is maintained through use of
employee feedback, Mystery Diner Reports and Guest Feedback.
ï‚- Promote guest satisfaction throughout the operation with continued
training of staff.
ï‚- Enforce property specific Standard Operating Procedures within your area
of responsibility.
ï‚- Based on shared responsibility and leadership, unifying the talent and
energy of each member of the team.

ï‚- You will need the ability to bring and keep energy in the room, exuding
confidence and charisma to relax customers.
ï‚- It is essential that you can remain cool under pressure and able to deal
with potentially stressful situations with finesse and style, maintaining a
composed and confident demeanour.
ï‚- Relevant experience in the hospitality industry over the last two years is
desirable in this role.
ï‚- You will need excellent communication skills, alongside the ability to write,
read and speak fluently in English. The ability to add, subtracts, multiply
and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers is also a necessity.
ï‚- Excellent organisational skills are a must, with the ability to multi task and
meet tight deadlines.
ï‚- Ideally you also have knowledge of Weights & Measures Act, Licensing
Laws and Food Hygiene Regulations with some hotel or restaurant
background.
