Making A Difference as A Finance Systems Technical Specialist
In this newly created role, you will be part of a small team reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, within the Corporate Finance Team. The team will be central in the implementation of a cloud-based Unit 4 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System, as part of a wider project team that includes colleagues from a range of Council service areas.
You will work with colleagues and the system provider to ensure a successful implementation - assisting in configuration, testing, roll-out and training. Once embedded, you will help develop and maintain the system, along with user support and engagement, ensuring it continues to enable the Council’s transformation and modernisation agenda.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated person with the ability to maintain and develop systems to fulfil the role, which will be varied and afford you the opportunity to demonstrate your many qualities, which will include your ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to bring about positive change.

You will be experienced in implementing complex incident and problem resolutions, preparing technical procedures, and capable of cascading learning and knowledge to team members and other colleagues.
