**About the role**

We are currently recruiting for a Multi Trade Operative to join our team on a full time basis, based in Oxford.

The Multi Trade Operatvie will ensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys, and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice.

This role will include undertaking a range of planned, void or maintenance works, repairing or replacing items to maintain properties to a high standard, in line with the role skills framework.

You will complete works in conjunction with all health and safety procedures, policies and legislation. This will include working efficiently and deliver high standards of quality.

**About you**

You must be to qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ2 level in Building Maintenance, Multi Trade repair and refurbishment operations or demonstrate equivalent trade experience. Previous experience of working within the social housing sector would be beneficial.

You must have a Full UK Driver's License to enable you to be successful as you will be travelling to multiple locations weekly - you will be provided with transport.

You will be required to undertake a range of routine and planned domestic maintenance repairs including the following trades: Basic Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery, Painting/Decorating, Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling and Roofing.

It is essential that you are able to ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control.

You must have the ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload to achieve deadlines and be able to effectively use hand-held electronic devices.
