Samac Fixings Ltd is a leading national distributor of fixings based in the Wickford, Essex area. Established in 2004 we supply a comprehensive range of nails, screws and associated products to the roofing, building, timber & fencing merchants across the UK. Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking a Warehouse picker/packer to join our busy despatch team.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Locating, picking & packing stock whilst showing attention to detail.
- Palletising & labelling packages ready for despatch.
- Moving pallets & orders between departments/buildings, using pump trucks.
- General warehouse maintenance (keeping all locations and isles free of debris, sweeping, clearing all areas & other ad hoc duties)
- Health & Safety
- Communicating & working with other departments
- Warehouse holiday cover for goods in/stock control departments.
- Other Ad/Hoc duties

Knowledge & Skills will include:

- Counterbalance Truck Licence would be advantageous but not essential.
- Attention to detail & good communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Reliable, with good time keeping skills.
- Knowledge of H&S & Warehouse procedures

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
