Due to continued business growth we are looking for a Trainee Mortgage Services Consultant to join our Mortgage Services Team here at Fleet Mortgages, with a fantastic opportunity to develop a career within the Mortgage industry.

**The Role**

To carry out general administration support in the Mortgage Services Team and provide a professional, efficient and high standard of customer service to our customers and third parties.

Learn to deal with all aspects of administration procedures relating to existing loans including queries both by telephone and in writing and handle all processes with accuracy within agreed timescales.

Assist with protecting Fleet Mortgages from fraudulent activity and act in a compliant manner at all times, in line with regulatory guidelines.

**Key Outputs and Responsibilities**
- Work towards competency sign off in all areas of Mortgage Services work
- Develop positive working relationships with colleagues
- Deal with queries and enquiries effectively, accurately, and professionally, delivering excellent customer service
- Ensure relevant documentation and information received is checked for adherence to policy and criteria
- Provide a prompt reply to all written correspondence
- Adhere to internal/external compliance, credit review and audit requirements
- Make suggestions for improvements to processes to enhance service and efficiency
- All other associated duties and responsibilities and carry out any tasks as required by management

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Enthusiastic, flexible and keen to learn and develop a career in Financial Services
- Approximately two years work experience within a service industry would be an advantage
- Adaptive to ongoing change
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- PC literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Willingness to study for relevant Financial Services qualifications
