Freightroute Limited is a family business and one of the leading privately owned palletised transport organisations in the UK. Established in 1979 we operate across 10 sites in England and Scotland with over 420 employees and 175 vehicles. We offer a wide range of delivery solutions to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professional conduct.

Due to internal progression, we are looking for a Traffic Clerk to join our team based in Gloucester (08.00 - 18.00). Working with our existing team, as Traffic Clerk you will have primary responsibility for ensuring the vehicles are utilised effectively throughout the day.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Ensuring all administrative tasks are completed on a daily basis and any additional administrative tasks assigned by the DOM or DGM as required. A flexible approach and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, delivery points and personnel across the business are required. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to
- Bay check
- discreps - Over freight, all explained at interview, work unsupervised but gets job done on time
- Trailer check, census
- PDAs signed out - debrief - agency paperwork
- Answering and dealing with incoming calls to the Depot, booking deliveries in
- Input of jobs onto the Manpack 3 system
- Liaising with customer regarding delivery updates, obtaining assistance for drivers with unloading at delivery premises, general ETA enquires.
- Non-conformance of jobs on the Manpack3 System
- Monitoring Palletforce Alliance system as relevant to the depot.
- Completion of Drivers run sheets
- Drivers debrief
- Service failure enquiries, customer service
- Any ad hoc jobs assigned by DOM / DGM

This is a varied role requiring a flexible and positive approach, previous experience in a similar environment or customer service skills would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given to the right applicant.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,517.00-£24,921.00 per year
