**Senior Carer / Supervisor Position Details**

**Job Title**: Night Supervisor

**Department**: Adult Care

**Location**: Wavertree House.

**Type of Contract**: Permanent

**Salary**: £12.85

**Hours**: 33-44hrs per week

**Reports to**: Deputy Manager

**Hours**: Shift working will be required which will include weekends and public holidays.

Purpose of job
To provide care and support to residents and supervise night operations in the home.

Line management responsibility for night care team on duty

Main accountabilities

Supervise care workers during shifts assigning routine tasks and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Administer all medications in the home and provide first aid assistance to service users and staff when required.

Ensure that the building is secure during out of hours working.

Develop relationships with service users, families and colleagues.

Manage emergencies and complete relevant paperwork

Complete daily logs and documents relating to care delivered.

**Shifts**

2045 - 0800

Pay Rate £12.85

Next incremental increase will be April 2023

Experience of working with elderly older people who have sight problems or are hearing impaired would be desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £13.85 per hour
