This is a new post to provide our newly recruited Nursing Assistants with additional pastoral support and training so that are prepared for their role, have a positive experience of settling into their new clinical environment, feel welcomed, and supported, engaged with their team and our Trust vision and values.

These individuals play an essential role providing people with some of the most personal and fundamental support and are a significant part of the workforce in the services we provider. It is crucial they are valued, supported and trained to do their important job well.

The post holder will assist in the delivery of the HCSW induction and clinical training programme for our HCSWnew starters; making new starters feel welcomed and being a source of contact and support during their first year in the Trust, including offering regular pastoral support meetings.
