Nursery Housekeeper

To support our team we are recruiting for a Nursery Housekeeper to work with us on a full time basis, Monday to Friday, 10am-7pm, all year round.

In this role you will be responsible for the day to day cleaning of the nursery, including all playrooms, staff room, kitchen and toilets. You will also be responsible for monitoring the cleaning supplies, sterilising and following all nursery polices and procedures including COSHH.

Further to this you would help cover staff breaks and lunches.

**Duties may be as follows but not limited to**:

- Clean and maintain assigned areas
- Sterilising resources
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and hoovering floors
- Laundry
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- Emptying bins and recycling bins
- Restocking supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning products
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to the Management Team

**Qualifications/Experience**:
Previous experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role is preferred but not required

Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks

Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently

Excellent communication skills to interact with families or other staff members

SCQF Level 6 or equivalent in Early Years or Childcare preferred.
