Metering Installation Advisor

As Smart Choice Metering continues its exciting growth, we have a position available for a Metering Installation Advisor to join the established team in Old Trafford, Manchester.

You will effectively lead a team of engineers in their specific area across the internal BES campaign, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

**Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to)**:

- Take calls from Engineers for Installation Appointments, Debt Disconnection Appointments, Communication Visits
- Support engineers through overcoming technical challenges, using a knowledge base to guide engineers to problem solve installation and/or commissioning issue
- Ensure all data input activities are accurate and in line with existing business processes
- Identify personal training needs and communicate to line manager, focusing on all aspects of the role to enhance performance
- Maintain good attendance; ensure any absence is reported in line with Company Attendance Management Policy
- Suggest initiatives and assist in the role out of company quality/continuous improvement initiatives to your Team Leader
- Actively work with colleagues and peers to provide support in achieving business targets
- Display a high degree of self-discipline and a strong work ethic
- Assist in the role out of company quality/continuous improvement initiatives on an ongoing basis
- Other tasks as set by your line manager such as outgoing planning calls, planning and scheduling.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Essential:_
- Self-motivated individual
- Strong previous experience based with customer services function
- Excellent time management skills
- Working to deadlines and possessing the ability to prioritise tasks and objectives
- A good knowledge of Microsoft packages is also essential for the position.
