Dog Trainer/ Behaviourist

Responsibilities:
- Conduct dog training sessions and classes using positive reinforcement techniques
- Assess and evaluate dogs' behavior and training needs
- Develop customized training plans based on individual dogs' needs and goals
- Teach basic obedience commands, as well as more advanced skills and tricks
- Educate dog owners on proper handling, training, and care techniques
- Provide guidance and support to dog owners to help them achieve desired results
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions and progress
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a professional dog trainer or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior, training methods, and positive reinforcement techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with both dogs and their owners
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Veterinary knowledge or background is a plus
- Customer service skills to provide exceptional service to clients
- Physical stamina for handling dogs during training sessions, including heavy lifting if necessary
- High level of patience, empathy, and understanding towards dogs and their owners

**Salary**: Up to £26,500.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 - 39 per week
