Guildford Rock School is the home of contemporary music instrument lessons in Guildford and the surrounding areas. We specialise in music instrument lessons, Rock Band Clubs, and our baby sensory music classes Little Rockers.

**LITTLE ROCKERS**

We're looking for a class leader to run our Little Rockers classes, providing our little rockers with multi-sensory music sessions.

Little Rockers is a fun, sensory music class for babies and toddlers. Children experience songs, musical instruments and dancing, as well as fun kids’ favourites such as the bubble machine, balloons, wiggly worms and the parachute

**OVERVIEW**

Little Rockers classes run Monday mornings, term time.

BABY ROCKERS:
3 months - 18 months

Mondays | 9.30 - 10.10am (40 mins)

LITTLE ROCKERS:
18 months - 4 years

Mondays | 10.30 - 11.10am (40 mins)

2 hours work plus set up and pack down time (roughly 30 mins either side).

**PAY**

£50 per weekly session

**MAIN DUTIES**
- Deliver our structured classes.
- Sing songs, nursery rhymes, actions songs, circle songs, play guitar.
- Set up, pack down and store the equipment for the session, including foam mats, percussions, toys, and instruments.

**SKILL AND ATTRIBUTES**
- A genuine love of working with babies and children
- A fun, outgoing and upbeat personality
- Confident singing and playing guitar (simple open chord nursery rhythms)
- Confident working independently and taking the initiative.
- Organised, reliable and committed.
- Flexible approach to running sessions - a degree of variation is desirable.
- Full driving license and car with storage space.
- Space to store mats and equipment etc. Boxes will need to be stored and transported to and from hall each week (can be stored safely in car if wanted).

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE**

Previous experience working with children in the early years setting is a must.

**PREFFERED EXPERIENCE**

Experience running baby / children music classes.

Communicating and forming relationships with parents and carers.

Experience in performance. Singing or acting.

Majority of equipment provided - mats, instruments, toys, storage boxes.

**LOCATION**

Jacobs Well Village Hall, Guildford, GU4 7PD.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 2 - 3 per week

**Salary**: £16.66-£25.00 per hour
