K & D Izzard Transport Limited are seeking a HGV mechanic to join a busy haulage workshop in Bedfordshire.

**Duties and key responsibilities - Operational**
- To work as part of a team within the Workshop
- Six Week servicing of larger fleet
- Fleet Brake testing
- Fleet repairs
- M.O.T prep
- Irtec qualified (Desirable)
- Repairs can be from bulbs changes to engine rebuilds

To ensure that all regulations are followed in respect of the health and safety at work act and all other statutory regulations, as applied to work being carried out by the company.
- To participate with ongoing training within the organisation to remain sufficiently skilled and to be able to fulfil their duties
- To ensure all work allocated is completed to an acceptable standard with regards to time and objectives
- Prepare and submit relevant paperwork/worksheets/records etc
- Ensure all operations are legally compliant and systems and procedures work with in the quality and environmental systems in place

Any other duties which may fall in general description of this post

Saturday work will be essential.
