**SAFETY NETTING - CONTRACTS SUPERVISOR**

**JOB SUMMARY**:
Oversee the management of all aspects of the operations of the business, ensuring all work is completed on time, to budget and safely, ability to build relationships with Clients and secure future works for your Department.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Leads and controls Safety Netting Installation & WAH installation Teams engaged in all activities concerned with JMSS works and product range. Must be able to optimize resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of the works. Must be Able to demonstrate good organizational skills, following policies, procedures and work practices.

2. Ability to create, method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.

3. Commands respect of his workforce, and develop excellent working relationships with all other department personnel.

4. Can deliver contracts on Budget ensuring, both H&S and commercial commitments are honored, maximizing the effectiveness of the Business and workforce.

5. The ability to Communicate with Existing & Prospective Clients, Survey and Estimate Safety Netting & WAH workloads.

6. Must have the ability to maintain a tight labor percentage in line with company estimates, whilst working to the highest of safety standards.

7. Should projects have problems, at short notice must have the ability to juggle labor and materials to solve problems and keep to site programs, keeping our Clients Happy.

8. Creating weekly programmes on site, and project workloads ahead to ensure JMSS Labour / Staff are busy at all times.

9. Be firm but always fair with the Employees and Install Teams.

10. Arrange materials to site including writing the load lists and arranging collections from Site.

11. Responsible for writing the time sheets relating to Installation Teams wages and allocation of Man hours / Time to a given job / Task,

12. Aid the Managing Director, Branch Manager and commercial Team to create Weekly Financial Reports against the sites under your responsibility.

13. Identify Specifications, and Arranging designs for Netting Installation for Awkward shaped plots Solving problems for the client.

15. Managing a team in branch and on-site ensuring all clients’ needs are met to continue the growth of the business.

16. Assists the Directors and Management Team with company Objectives

17. Familiar with all Company safety and QA/QC procedures, regulations and strictly enforces them, I.e. Checks and inspects netting on completion and walks the addresses worked on that day to ensure no materials have been left on site.

18. Carries out Site Specific Toolbox Talks to the Labor force on Site 2 per week, these are to be Recorded and signed then Submitted to Head Office for filing.

19. Ensure all operatives have undergone a Jmac Inductions on starting their employment within the Company, & a Site-specific induction from the client prior to commencing work on any of our clients sites.

20. Ensure all operatives have read and signed onto the Site Risk assessments and Method Statements which you will control via a site folder which will be left in the office Each Evening.

21. Understanding the labor force and knowing how to get the best out of each Team, for example who works well with who.

22. Ensure Handovers are completed by Install team with Site Manager during the day, these must then be submitted to Your Self and Forwarded to Head office to be saved against the Company management system Strikesoft.

23. Plans the next day’s work based on the site Program and site requirements in direct liaison with the site management teams.

24. Identify needs for Labour within your Department, Hire / Dismiss installers as per the needs of the Business and your department, with the view to build and develop a Team that is second to None.

25. Carry out Site visits and complete Formal Site / Netting Inspection on site these are to provide the information for further training and identify any shortcoming in the quality of our work. Site Inspections to be Save to Strike and submitted to Client Site management teams

**WORK CONDITIONS**: Can work with less supervision and under pressure.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Must hold a valid Blue Skilled CSCS CARD and Valid Driving License
Must be willing to works towards management Qualification as identified by the company.

Must be computer literate and be able to operate Microsoft office and PDF Editors as well as produce and edit a company documentation to a high standard.

**HOURS OF WORK**:
Basic Monday to Friday as and when Required based on the needs of the Business / Department.

07:00 to 17:00 - As and When Required based on operational commitments of the business.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £30,000.00 per year
