The PING brand is synonymous with innovation, performance, quality and service and has a worldwide reputation for designing and manufacturing industry-leading, custom-fit golf equipment, while also being a highly regarded golf apparel brand.
PING Europe, based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, assembles and distributes golf equipment to the UK, Ireland, Europe, Iceland, South Africa and the Middle East. The European headquarters employs over 250 people in a range of different functions, including manufacturing, operations, marketing, sales and finance. The company is also the proprietor of the local golf club, Thonock Park.
**Website Administrator**
**Essential duties and responsibilities**:
- Manage e-commerce product data and uploading of content, ensuring it is up-to-date, accurate, merchandised and aligned with the company's branding and messaging.
- Understand the technical aspects of the site, including content management systems, product SKUs, pricing and inventory management.
- Monitor website and campaign performance using analytics tools.
- Work closely with the internal marketing team and external e-commerce agency to make recommendations for improvements.
- Execute agreed website strategies and ensure website content is search engine optimised (SEO) in-line with marketing activities.
- Ensure website security and data privacy standards are met.
- Troubleshoot website issues, liaising with PING US and external vendors as needed.
- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and industry trends and make recommendations for incorporating them into the company's website.
**Essential qualifications and experience**:
- At least one year of e-commerce CMS experience is essential.
- Experience and understanding of the Magento e-commerce platform would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience and understanding in Google Analytics, SEO, PPC and key e-commerce principles.
**Personal qualities**:
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work out of office hours as and when required.
