**This is the job**:
Joining the AA as a Digital Content Editor, you’ll be responsible for creating and optimising SEO content on our website. Your primary focus will be breakdown cover - a pivotal part of our digital offering.

Collaborating closely with our UX designers, you’ll be instrumental in creating and publishing new pages to capture search demand and target user needs. Working with stakeholders from the digital team, you’ll also optimise high-traffic product landing pages. By producing quality content at pace and improving the performance of existing content, you’ll help to deliver a best-in-class digital experience for our users.

An integral part of this role is building componentised web pages, so you’ll need to be detail-orientated and comfortable configuring and publishing content within a CMS. The role will also involve the use of generative AI tooling to augment the content ideation and copywriting process, so you’ll need to be in the know with the latest technological trends.

You’ll be an experienced and confident copywriter, editor and content producer who loves words and can spot a typo at twenty paces. You’ll deliver brilliant, on-brand content that engages and delights. And you’ll always have our users in mind - from making the technical stuff simple to making our product offering compelling.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Create landing pages and articles that distil complex roadside matters into easy-to-consume, digestible content that also achieve a commercial outcome - supporting both customer intent and our broader SEO profile
- Work collaboratively with the wider Design team, including UI/UX designers, to create user-focused content and seamless customer experiences
- Write and edit copy in line with our brand, tone of voice and house style guidelines and our content strategy
- Translate legal/compliance requirements into user-focused plain English
- Work across multiple projects, using your knowledge to develop outstanding content across all digital channels
- Ensure the editorial process delivers best-in-class content and that pages get from brief to live at an efficient and agile pace
- Test and monitor the performance of content and identify ways to iteratively improve it

**What do I need?**:
**Essential**:

- Strong demonstrable experience as a copywriter or content editor creating content for websites and/or apps
- Experience creating, editing and publishing web content in a Content Management System (experience in Sitecore CMS would be highly desirable)
- A strong grounding in SEO and UX principles
- Self-starter that takes the initiative and works well in teams
- Good organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Stakeholder comfortability to communicate and collaborate with on all levels including Senior Leaders and Directors
