My client is a local charity with a mission to deliver the best patient-centred end-of-life care in homes of North Northumberland. Due to company expansion, I am seeking an experienced operations manager, who will be responsible for organising and coordinatinginternal operations, managing the daily operations of the office, supervising employees and office volunteers and maintaining relevant records in order to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency. These include processing fundraised income and ensuringaccurate recording; reconciling month end finance activities; insurance; payroll; utilities; communications; overall responsibility for HR and volunteer admin. You will also work closely with Finance Manager to ensure that the Charity has the capacity to runefficiently.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Providing support to the Finance Manager with the implementation / management of procurement and financial management procedures.
- To ensure all Admin processes are up to date and tasks are carried out a timely manner.
- Database management - ensure records, including back-up, archive storage, security and access are up to date at all times
- Facilities management - ensure facilities are all fit for purpose, safe, clean and comply with relevant legislation.
- IT management - ensure all systems / contracts are updated and fit for purpose.
- Provide administrative support to the wider team, including managers, staff and volunteers.

Key qualities & experience required include:

- Enjoy working as part of a small but highly effective Team
- Confident IT skills, comfortable using Microsoft packages and the ability to learn in-house systems/databases
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Always demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Detail-oriented and analytical
