Support Worker

Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The role involves providing care and support to individuals in various settings such as homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Providing personal care to individuals in need of support
- Assisting with medication administration as required
- Supporting individuals with daily activities such as grooming, dressing, and eating
- Driving individuals to appointments or outings
- Engaging in childcare activities when necessary
- Assisting nurses with medical procedures and treatments
- Helping residents in nursing homes with mobility and daily tasks
- Being involved in heavy lifting tasks when needed
**Skills**:
- Previous experience in care or support work is desirable
- Ability to administer medication following guidelines
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards those in need of support
- Valid driving licence for transporting individuals
- Familiarity with home care practices and procedures
- Knowledge of working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes
- Capability to engage in childcare activities when required
- Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks
Pay: £11.90-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 36 per week
