We have an exciting opportunity available for a **Kitchen Supervisor **to join our team working on a full time permanent basis, **40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7**. In return we will offer you a competitive pay rate wof **£11.20 per hour (OTE £11.75 per hour)**, a place to develop your skills and the chance to work in some of the UK’s most stunning forest environments.
**The Kitchen Supervisor Role**:
Open all year round, as our Kitchen Supervisor you play a pivotal role in our Forest Retreat building, the hub of the location. This is our reception, the first port of call for guests checking in on their holiday. Working closely with the Food & Beverage / Retail Manager, we are looking for an individual with a real passion for great food to supervise our catering provision, delivering exceptional customer service. You will ensure our guests receive food of the highest standard whilst ensuring all our kitchen Health & Safety obligations are met in full.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and cook all orders and ensure the quality and presentation of the food and delivery to the table is to the highest standard.
- Ensure your team comply with Health and Safety / Food Hygiene in Catering regulations and complete required paperwork associated within a food environment.
- Understand and encourage the principles of safe food handling to ensure all food preparation undertaken in the kitchen is to the highest standards of hygiene.
- Manage the cleaning rota, to ensure the regular cleaning of all kitchen areas, equipment and appliances to meet the required high standards of cleanliness.
- Supervise and train other team members to ensure they follow the above
