We are currently recruiting for a Cleaner/GSA to work with our team at RAF Boulmer, Admin Site, Longhoughton, Alnwick, Northumberland, NE66 3JY

**What you'll be doing**:

- General cleaning of public areas and office areas including dusting, sweeping, mopping etc
- Rubbish disposal
- Cleaning washrooms, kitchen areas, gyms, classrooms and the medical/dental centre
- Work effectively without supervision
- Clean designated areas and areas notified at short notice
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Working in the kitchen as a mess hand
- Duties include cleaning, washing tins, plates, cleaning fridges, cleaning deep fat fryers, serveries and general cleaning
- Following guidance set out in the cleaning schedule
- Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy to a high level of cleanliness.
- Assist with department stock takes
- Ensure that all equipment is sorted correctly and is in good working order

**Experience**:

- Basic DBS required
- Knowledge of COSHH
- Excellent team player and good communication skills
- Should be able to work on own initiative and within a team environment
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as on the job training will be given
- Flexible approach to duties with a can do attitude
- Be able to manage your work load in a good timescale
