The Adult Nursing Division at LSBU is one of the largest in the U.K., with campuses in Southwark, Croydon and Havering. Our students are placed in hospitals across London and the South East. We offer many opportunities for new lecturers to develop and be successful, from workshops to Teaching Qualifications, Masters's Degrees, Professional Doctorates, PHDs and beyond.

You will contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of learning and teaching activities in our well-established pre
- and post-registration Adult Nursing courses. You will use effective learning techniques to engage and support students, including supporting recruitment and assessment as required. Research, publications and presenting are also important elements of the role. You will contribute to maintaining our team ethos whilst building effective working relationships with internal and external partners.

**The skills and experience you will need to be successful**

You will have experience in supporting student learning in either a practice or classroom setting. For the Senior Lecturer, you’ll also demonstrate experience in facilitating student learning in a University setting (e.g. student nurses). It’s key to understand current NMC requirements and standards of proficiency, and for the Senior Lecturer also evidence of evidence-based teaching practice. You will be able to demonstrate evidence of teamworking and working autonomously as well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will need to be student-focused on your approach and be willing to use and learn the latest thinking in digital and technological tools for student support and learning.

**Details about the role**

Permanent / Fulltime FTE 1.0 / Monday to Friday (working 35 hours per week, part-time also available and will be considered).

Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on-site and from home, confirmation of days worked on campus is arranged with the line manager.
