We are excited to be in a position to recruit a personal assistant to provide care and support for a 13 year old girl with complex care needs in the Ponteland area.

Reporting to the Team Leader, and working closely with the client’s family, you will ensure high quality care and effective communication is maintained across in a wide variety of environments and situations.

You will be required to provide care based on a flexible rota, but where commitment is essential. Daily school runs will be required during term time.

Full training will be given, along with access to a range of independent therapists and community support staff, to ensure that all team members have the full training they require to work towards common goals and to assist in both the client’s and your own personal development. This role calls for an individual who can act on their own initiative and also work as part of a team. A clean driving license is essential as you will be asked to drive family vehicles.

Desirable: Experience preferred of at least 2 years as this is a clinical role.

HOURS: Full Time 35hrs

Shifts: full days between the hours of 7am and 6pm.Salary:£11.44 per hour weekdays, £13.52 per hour weekends and double time during bank holidays.
