Here at Stratstone, powered by Pendragon, we’re excited to be embarking on a new and innovative partnership. We’re looking for a creative Marketing Leader to play a key part in shaping our future, as we move forwards with one of the most exciting automotive brands to ever hit the UK market.

BYD (Build Your Dreams) is a pioneer in new automotive technology. Having been first established in China in 1995, the brand has since trailblazed the way forwards for electric vehicle technology. Their revolutionary innovations include their Blade Battery and exclusive E-Platform 3.0 interface, both of which have helped their vehicles to achieve five-star Euro NCAP safety ratings, thanks to unrivalled intuitive systems. 2023 sees the launch of this incredible brand in the UK, and we’re looking for a visionary and innovative individual to drive the new Stratstone and BYD partnership forwards.

As Marketing Leader, you’ll have full responsibility for the multi-channel marketing delivery for our BYD franchise. Working closely with the Group Marketing team, PR agency, manufacturer and the Head of OEM Marketing, you will execute the overarching marketing plans, both nationally and at site level. **What you’ll be responsible for in your Marketing role**:

- Driving the Stratstone and BYD partnership forwards, becoming a trailblazer for the latest in electric automotive technology and taking the brand to the next level
- Working effectively with the wider Group Marketing team and external Marketing and PR agency, to structure and implement franchise marketing campaigns, exceeding expectations on business and manufacturer objectives, whilst maintaining franchise marketing budgets
- Establishing key working relationships with dealership and central teams, ensuring campaigns are communicated at all levels, adopting multi-channel communication methods
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with the BYD manufacturer, ensuring all activity and plans meet the franchise standards
- Engaging in operational and marketing best practice meetings, ensuring that the marketing plans are effectively communicated to dealer operations teams and operational objectives are captured, understood and shared across the wider marketing team
- Providing feedback to the operations and dealer teams on campaign analysis and learnings from the ROI analyst teams, making recommendations where necessary
- Provide day-to-day support for the dealer operations team, whilst assisting with effective planning and communication of on and off-site events
- Demonstrate a flexible approach, adopting Agile project working practices to ensure the successful delivery of mid to long term marketing plans
- Work cross-functionally to take ownership of relevant sections of the Stratstone website, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date and aligned with business and manufacturer objectives
