**Workshop Operative**

Northern Polytunnels is a family business based in Lancashire. We manufacture and deliver a wide range of products focused on specific customer needs which include hobby, commercial, horticultural, livestock and PVC clad structures.

**The key role responsibilities of the Tube Operative are**:

- Kit / pack assembally.
- Using tools such as drills and grinders and tape measures.
- Operating power presses bandsaws and linishers.
- Handling material.
- Deburring material.
- Cleaning work area.

Maintaining a good level of health and safety.

Complying with site rules.
- Punctual.
- Have a good work ethic.
- Work on own initiative.
- A team player.
- 6 weeks temporary contract under probationary period.

**Job Type**: Temporary

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 1 month, potentially longer.

Benefits: On-site parking

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Friday 8:00 am - 2:30 pm

8-hour shift

Experience: Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
