Captains Close Primary School have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Learning Support Assistant within Captains Nest. This is a varied role and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual.

We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and highly motivated SEN Learning Support Assistant to support with 1:1 and group interventions. We are looking for someone who is committed to improving outcomes for all of our children, along with a passion for providing inspirational learning experiences. Do you have experience of working with SEN pupils and could make a difference through a variety of strategies and interventions?

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- NVQ 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of child protection and health and safety procedures.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Empathy with children and young people.
- Knowledge and experience of dealing with children with a range of SEND.
- Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
