To support the Senior Sister to manage a team of nurses ensuring the delivery, development and maintenance of high standards of nursing care. To take responsibility for the day to day management of the clinical area. To take the lead for specific areas of professional practice as delegated by the Senior Sister. To deputise for the Senior Sister in their absence.
