**Trade Counter Supervisor / Yardman**

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our fast-growing landscaping, fencing and facilities management company in the Brownhills area. We are looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated trade counter supervisor, who will be able to build this new aspect of the business.

Alongside this, you will be assisting our Contracts team by maintaining the yard and preparing orders and managing stock.

**Trade Counter**
- Helping grow the department from inception by increasing the businesses profile through various marketing channels
- Acting as the main point of contact for enquiries.
- Preparing orders received
- Taking payments
- Raising invoices
- Maintaining and managing daily stock levels

**Yardman**
- Managing stock of landscaping and fencing materials.
- Liaising with Contracts team daily on stock availability, to ensure efficiency due to the perishable nature of the stock.
- Preparing materials to be used by landscaping and fencing teams on a day to day basis.
- Maintaining the tidiness of the yard to a high standard of safety and presentability.
- Making deliveries to site to support Contracts team where required (vehicle provided).

**Person Specification**
- Experience in a similar role, managing a yard.
- Experience of working in a customer facing role, ideally on a Trade Counter (preferred but not essential)
- A background working in the construction and building industry.
- Ability to learn and understand the products available to customers.
- Ability to work independently to achieve growth of the Trade Counter, whilst enjoying being a part of the wider team and working towards the same goal to achieve the company’s objectives.
- A pro-active thinker who can maximise the efficiency of the yard and flow of the workload.

This role offers a highly competitive salary and benefits:

- £30-32k per annum, dependent on experience.
- Company vehicle provided.
- Full time, permanent role.
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm with 30 minute break.
- Company pension provided.
