**Job Summary**:
We are looking to recruit Fibre Optic Cable Installers to provide support to our fibre network build team across North Yorkshire. As a Fibre Optic Cable Installer, you will perform your duties on existing and new build networks. This will include internal and external works. The engineer will carry out their duties in line with engineering specifications as defined by the Project Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Attending sites and provide overhead and underground fibre cabling
- Installation of Blown Fibre Tubing (BFT)
- Blowing fibre using fibre blowing technology
- Working with wider engineering communities to connect residential and business customers
- Working at heights in the UG network whilst adhering to Health and Safety legislation
- Working as an individual and as a part of a team to achieve targets and KPI’s

**Skills and qualifications required**:

- Hold a full UK driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your license
- Hold a valid NRSWA street works operative to a minimum of Unit 2
- Hold or have held Openreach overhead and cabling accreditation modules
- Have extensive experience of working on the Openreach network
- Be confident with working at heights
- Have exposure to risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety
