**Your role** LABORATORY DUTIES**
- Lab Maintenance:
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised laboratory environment in accordance with EH&S policies and hold others accountable for following these guidelines
- Ordering consumables and chemicals
- Daily stock management and replenishment of fragrance oils
- Waste disposal (plastic, glass, chemicals)
- Fragrance Application Support:
- Liaise with the Fragrance Application Teams in the regional creative centres located in France and Germany to align processes and request specific technical support
- Fragrance Evaluation Support:
- Preparation of laundry assessments
- Preparation of candle assessments
- Set up internal panel tests
**COORDINATION OF MARKET SAMPLE REQUESTS**
- Co-ordination of market sample requests from the UK team and other Symrise sites
- Organise sample despatch to other Symrise sites
**About you** REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Passion for Fragrances
- Strong Microsoft Office software knowledge, especially Outlook & Excel
- Record keeping and data presentation
- Adhere to instructions
- Able to follow instructions with attention to detail and accuracy
- Possesses the ability to work in an organised, logical and safe manner
- Team working and co-operation
- Good communication and literacy skills
- Initiative taker and pro-active
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**
- Ideally some basic laboratory experience
- Chemistry/Biology/Food Science degree would be advantageous
