**Job**: Back-end Developer
**Location**: Hybrid (Norwich) or Fully remote.
**Salary**:£35,000 - £45,000 DOE
**Summary**: Our client, a global technology business with a base in Norwich are looking to expand their UK IT team to include a new back-end biased developer working in the Microsoft Technology stack. The role represents an opportunity to be partof reducing technology waste, and the 'throw away' society.
You'll work as part of a tight knit team on systems integrating with some of the best known businesses in Europe. As with most environments the stack contains both legacy and new tech alike. Unlike a lot of places however, the work you do contributes to forwardmomentum, and the code you write will go live - so you'll get to see the fruits of your labour go into production.
As a member of the UK technology team you'll get to work alongside an experienced and talented team, with a strong team of Solutions architects to help develop your skills and mentor your professional development further. The opportunity to progress throughthe company and move into more senior / lead roles in due course is a tried and tested practice here, so the company can represent a long term career prospect.

**Ideally, you'd have some or all of the following skills / experiences**:

- SQL Server development - (Must have skill, core part of the role)
- C# /.NET experience - (Ideally.NET experience, however other languages are acceptable)
- Application development experience.
- Git, or other version control platforms.
**Experience with any of the following would be great, but not essential. These are skills you may well have access to learn eventually**:

- Microservices
- Docker
- AWS
- SSRS, SSIS
- Visio, Jira, Confluence.
