**Salary**: £18,500 - 22,750.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities (term and holidays)**

This role leads the Swift Holiday Clubs, an initiative that seeks to provide a stimulating, fun and educational environment for children between the ages of 4 and 13 during the school holidays. The post holder will lead and manage the holiday club provision, working with the head coaches, seasonal staff, and reporting to swift management. There will be strict expectations of safeguarding to ensure that the company's ethos and standards are maintained. The post holder will be adept at planning and the delivery of activities, they will be able to manage the people and logistics required to provide an outstanding holiday club environment that aligns with existing Swift ethos and vision.

**Term Time**

Alongside your teaching responsibilities you will need to plan for holiday club provision for pupils from reception to Year 8, including scheduling of activities and enriching activities, staff rota planning and interaction with the other staff to facilitate the provision during holiday clubs. To be involved in the recruitment of the Holiday Club team, ensuring the correct ratios of staff to pupils is maintained. To work with the Swift Management to maximise income through intelligent and strategic use of promotions, offers, advertising and new ideas. To develop an affinity with the culture of Swift Sports Coaching and how that can be translated into Holiday Club Provision. To work closely alongside staff and pupils across the appropriate age ranges.

**School Holidays -**

To have overall responsibility and accountability for leadership of the Holiday Club provision. To prepare an overview and weekly plans of activities to be covered and present these to members of our team in advance of each holiday period. To ensure the safety of both children and staff in a secure environment in line with swift and school policies and procedures. To take responsibility for promoting a safe, orderly and tidy environment. To liaise with external providers where applicable. To complete safeguarding and relevant training. To take responsibility for safeguarding during Holiday Club Provision.. To provide outstanding communications, both internally and externally. To develop, promote and execute an exciting and enjoyable Holiday Club Programme. Liaise with a member of the Swift management regarding safeguarding matters.

**DUTIES**

1. Lead a team of staff (senior and seasonal) allocating work to specific team members ensuring they fully understand their role and responsibilities. Involve staff in the running of sessions overseeing activities of those staff ensuring that performance is monitored and managed. Managing staff ratios, organising cover for planned and emergency absence.

2. To establish good working relationships with staff, pupils and parents/carers, including, but not limited to, Swift Staff, school office, teachers and SLT. Act as first point of contact for parents to answer or refer enquiries providing accurate and timely responses to enquiries and other routine matters. All forms of enquiries should be answered within a 48 hour period (seek support from Swift management only where necessary).

3. To ensure that sessions operate in a safe and effective manner and that relevant company policies and procedures are observed by the team.

4. To organise the planning, preparation, resourcing and maintenance of equipment and purposeful activities.Report loss/damage or low stock levels to the relevant staff and to request/order resources needed in a reasonable time frame.

5. To keep accurate records of attendance and ensure children are handed over to parents / carers at the end of the day in accordance with company procedure. To ensure that all children are registered, accounted for and remain on the premises at all times, taking regular head counts throughout the day.

6. To keep an accurate record of bookings, payments and money spent on resourcing during holiday club provision.

7. HAF - To ensure that adequate and healthy snacks are purchased and stored correctly and prepared and served under hygienic conditions; paying particular attention to children with dietary needs (medical/religious). To ensure that packed lunches are stored in an appropriate environment. To lead & ensure that good Health and Safety is maintained at all levels including food preparation & storage, risk assessments and accident reporting.

8. To communicate concerns, misbehaviour and information to the parents, Managing Directors and/or other staff as appropriate.

9. To provide, (where appropriate), first aid and record any incidents according to company policy and procedures.

10. Responsible for the safe removal and disposal of body fluids.
