**GENERAL SUMMARY**

Responsibility for all C&I aspects within Celeros for Pumps Equipment covering Comm Ops bid support at the Glasgow, Annecy, and Burlington Design Centers. Accurately costing & designing C&I customer requirements at tender stage. Hand-over & monitoring of OE and AM C&I, ensuring that tender proposals & project profitability are maintained whilst meeting customer requirements.

As the Commercial Operations C&I Technical Authority, your primary duty is to undertake a defined range of engineering activities in line with all relevant processes and quality requirements. You are required to liaise with different departments and suppliers to ensure an effective & productive outcome while continually maintaining high quality & standards. You will drive pump/package engineering design integrity with respect to C&I to maximise customer specification compliance.

Working in a collaborative manner with internal and external customers, to satisfy the needs of the project, is essential.

**PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)**
- Attendance at bid clarification & client kick off meetings where complicated control systems are required.
- Costing & specification reviews, comments and exceptions for tendering as required.
- Providing upfront engineering (P&ID's & full C&I Proposals) which define the proposed scope of supply, for targeted projects.
- Finalising required interfaces between sub-vendors & client systems and associated costs in readiness for handover to OE and AM order related team.
- Development of upfront processes to enable tendering engineers worldwide to specify their full requirements.
- Development & maintenance of standard cost sheets for Glasgow, Annecy, and Burlington instrument & conduit specifications, enabling purchasing & suppliers to update costs annually.
- Supporting AM with tender/costing information & where necessary, undertaking site surveys.
- Supporting Design Centers & Sales offices, such as Glasgow, US, Middle East, as required.
- Participate & actively support company initiatives.
- Familiar with the environmental aspects & impacts of the activities & processes involved in the role & the procedures, practices & measures to manage the impact.
- Familiar with the risks & hazards within the activities & processes of the role and procedures, practices & measures in place to mitigate the risks.
- All other duties as relevant to the post
- C&I Design Reviews with OE & AM ensuring that what has been sold has also been delivered, unless there is a good reason for any changes i.e., client/specification changes.
- Change to contract scope or specification to be agreed by C&I Technical Authority (Global Comm Ops Support).
- Works to develop functional skills and advanced disciplines of self.
- Interface and support downstream activities post design phase (shopfloor, test, commissioning, and warranty).
- Review OE & AM Feedback from monthly NCR’s, used to ensure improvement for future bid support.
- Review C&I documentation processes & hours, working with OE & AM C&I to reduce schedule overruns.
- Promote C&I Standardisation within the Design Centers.
- Sub-vendor C&I proposal checking & education, to ensure fully packaged &
- delivered equipment is in line with an "Installation Document" & client specifications, preventing Celeros manufacturing re-work/NCRs.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics or C&I Engineering or equivalent with related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and additional practical and professional experience.
- Ability to undertake C&I Engineering tasks without supervision.
- Good interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
