**Junior Racing Trader - (Hybrid London)**

This is a new team within Metric. We are launching our product with our new partners and as part of this team, traders will establish bespoke racing strategies with our partners for real-time liability control and price management; always ensuring we have a market leading racing offering. You will work as a junior trader in a fast-paced environment, looking at real-time bet analysis, supporting in profiling, noting and behavioural analysis.

This is a great time to be joining Metric. We’re signing exciting deals and growing fast, but there’s still a non-corporate, start-up vibe.

We have over 120 employees based all over the world. Some work on a hybrid basis in London and others work remotely.

We are a boutique B2B provider of sports betting software and services that, uniquely, offers operators all the control and autonomy of an in-house Sportsbook with the convenience of a turnkey solution. This is a hybrid role where the office days are based at our Fenchurch Street offices, in the heart of London). Applicants must already have the right to live and work in the UK. Ability to work flexibly including weekends and bank holidays is essential.

**Your day-to-day**

On a daily basis, you will manage and prioritise content, pinpoint gaps in Metric’s offerings, provide competitor analysis, and identify opportunities and innovations in the marketplace to create market-leading features. The key to this position is that it requires a talented individual with strong racing knowledge, keen to work together with their colleagues to provide a first-rate service in a consistent and reliable manner.

**Who are we looking for?**

A keen interest in Horse Racing, or has previously worked as a junior trader or in a similar betting role.
- Good knowledge of UK and International Horse Racing.
- General betting knowledge and passion for other sports would be an advantage.
- IT/software knowledge including advanced level Excel skills
- The ability to work during key racing festivals, weekends and bank holidays are essential.
- A strong work ethic, Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative as well as in a team.
