**Job Title**:People Assistant**

We have an opportunity for a **People Assistant **to** **join our organisation. The **People Assistant **will be based at Walter Moore House, West Bromwich (On Site).

**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
To provide timely Recruitment and people related administration to support the People Department, colleagues, and the business.

**Recruitment**
- Draft Internal and external adverts for Recruiting Manager including the use of QR codes.
- Support managers with managing applicants throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain and update Cascade Recruitment Module, ensuring relevant and appropriate questions are maintained in the system
- Provide one to one coaching and support to recruiting managers in relation to managing applicant through the HR applicant tracking system
- Working with people colleagues to ensure all Recruitment related Cascade workflow if efficient and working.
- Provide Recruitment and Selection training with Senior People Partner

**Onboarding**
- Process all new stated and necessary background checks though on boarding process.
- Manage reference checking, Right to Work, DBS and Health screening, ensuring all background checks are completed as quickly as possible and in alignment with agreed SLA.
- Provide weekly update to current Recruitment status.
- Monitor on a weekly basis time to recruit metrics.
- Develop systems and processes to ensure recruitment processes are efficient and up to date.
- Input all new starters on the system completing all required screens.
- Add Induction training to all new starter PDP’s.

**General**
- To maintain employee records on HR systems, ensuring that the data is accurate and inputted in accordance with procedure and agreed deadlines.
- To act as the initial point of contact for employee queries in relation to the HR elements of the company’s systems escalating where appropriate to HR Officer(s) in line with the Associations procedures.
- To track and monitor DBS renewals or updated checks to ensure these are obtained in a timely manner as per the Associations DBS policy.
- Monitor car insurance information for all car users claiming expenses.
- To provide administrative support to HR project work commensurate with the scope breadth and responsibilities of the role
- To undertake training and development commensurate and required for the role and team.
