**Hours: 42.5 hours over 5 days**

**Positions available at: Bishopthorpe and Tadcaster Road**

Little Green Rascals Organic Day Nurseries is the first organic and eco-friendly nursery group in the North of England. Established in 2009, we are proud to be the largest nursery group in York, serving over 900 families and employing nearly 250 wonderful staff.

We have private woodlands where we deliver Forest School (come rain or shine) by a team of qualified staff - our very own Bear Grylls We actively encourage the curiosity approach in our nurseries and have 3 key words Understanding, empathy and respect - which define our care.

**Requirements for a Room Leader**:

- Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification.
- Minimum 2 Years working in a busy nursery environment or similar.
- Having a positive, cheerful, helpful attitude and a willingness to learn and develop.

**Responsibilities for a Room Leader**:

- You will lead and inspire your room team whilst maintaining a safe, secure and caring environment in which you can deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences.
- You will play an active role in your team and contribute to the Nursery Management Team as well as act as a role model for other staff, students, agency staff and volunteers.
- You will be expected to go that extra mile to help deliver the Green Rascals vision of Exceptional Childcare in Exceptional Surroundings.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £24,752.00 per year
