An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bradford Teaching Hospitals (BTHFT) for a permanent band 6 Transfusion Practitioner position to work 22.5 hours per week.

The Transfusion Practitioner Team lead the transfusion service within BTHFT with support of the Hospital Transfusion Team. They are a friendly, caring and supportive team offering transfusion related guidance, support and training / competency assessments to all staff across BTHFT. They provide a link between the transfusion laboratory and the clinical areas playing a critical role in developing a culture of transfusion safety, appropriateness and Patient Blood Management (PBM).
