**Job overview**
This exciting role as Site Operations Manager for Stoke Mandeville Hospital will be professionally accountable to provide key operational leadership to an indirect team of 350-400 people working for a PFI partner service provider, along with two direct reportswithin a core team in the Property Services Operations department, plus manage a number of other subcontracted service providers.
**Main duties of the job**
The role encompassing financial and operational ownership of all soft services on site and management of PFI contracted estate within the Stoke Mandeville Hospital site. The post holder will be responsible for the operational safety, compliance management,commercial and contracts management, training and development of teams and the operational delivery for all soft services and moves across the Stoke Mandeville Hospital site, providing detailed support to the Head of Operations - Property Services and workingin a coordinated and coherent way with the Head of Estates Development and their team to achieve the "One Property Services department" ethos.
The post holder will be the management point of contact for the operational delivery of soft services and PFI contract on the SMH site, carrying senior and professional responsibility for the effective, safe and compliant delivery of these services.
They will also need to work in close harmony with the other Site Operations Manager role covering;
- High Wycombe & Amersham Hospital sites along with the retained Communities sites estate for BHT. Both Site Operations Managers will also cover each-otherduring holidays and absence periods.
The post holder may be required to also deputise for the Head of Operations Property Services when the Head of Operations is not available.
